San Diego Beaches got pretty high marks in the latest "Heal the Bay Beach Report Card," but the survey also exposed some long-running pollution problems.

    The consumer advocacy group UCAN announced this week it will have a new executive director: Kim Malcolm, a former chief of staff and administrative law judge at the California Public Utilities Commission.

  • Strong Winds Expected To Blow Through SD Mountains, Deserts

    A wind advisory will be in effect in the mountains and deserts until 2 p.m., when a more serious high wind warning goes into effect. The high wind warning is set to expire at 4 a.m. Saturday.
